Company Description

We are a busy and growing woodworking shop creating spaces that have warmth and character. We craft high-quality huts, studios, living spaces, and custom furniture pieces. With a focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail, our mission is to bring a unique touch to every project through skilled woodcraft and efficient service.

Role Description

This is a full-time Skilled Carpenter role based on-site in Swindon. The role involves daily tasks such as performing carpentry work, assembling and constructing wooden frameworks, and completing finish carpentry tasks. Using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely will be essential. The role focuses on creating bespoke structures and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all work.

  • Strong skills in Carpentry, including knowledge of materials and construction techniques
  • Proficiency in using Power Tools and Hand Tools with safety and care
  • Experience in Framing and structural component assembly
  • Expertise in Finish Carpentry to achieve detailed and polished results
  • Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience is preferred
