Location: Onsite, within the Stoke on Trent area - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Labourer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Possessing a background in manual labour on Site, familiar with working externally, at height and ideally working within Social Housing tenanted properties, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given.

An Outline Of Your Responsibilities And Experience

  • General Labouring around site mainly external roofing works, supporting sub contracts following delivery of roofing works with cleaning, moving materials including fencing and putting the site/property back together
  • Demolition and repointing of chimneys
  • Fascia, Soffit and Rainwater goods replacements/repairs
  • Ensure materials received are of a high standard in terms of quality.
  • Liaise with Site Manager to ensure stock is maintained
  • Manage Systems so they are up to date and accurate
  • Deliver materials and plant to operatives on site.
  • Ensure all site is kept clean and in order, including removing refuge from site
  • Follow and enforce company health and safety procedures

Construction, social housing refurbishment or planned maintenance industry experience.

Knowledge and Qualifications in;

  • NVQ Level 2 Construction Operations
  • PASMA, IPAF and Banksman / Traffic Marshall Training are all advantageous
  • Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
  • This role will require a Full UK Driving Licence
  • The role will require a DBS check to be taken
