Skilled Labourer - Belfast Refurbishment

We are currently partnering with a refurbishment contractor active within Northern Ireland with a great history of project delivery. Due to continued growth they are now seeking a Skilled Labourer to join their team in Belfast City Centre.

Responsibilities

General Repairs & Maintenance:

  • Carry out a range of handyman tasks including basic carpentry, plaster patching, painting, and minor plumbing or electrical fixes to support ongoing refurbishment works.

Site Preparation & Clean-Up:

  • Prepare work areas by removing debris, setting up materials, and ensuring spaces are safe and ready for trades. Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the site.

Assisting Trades:

  • Support skilled trades such as joiners, electricians, and plumbers by moving materials, holding fixings, or assisting with installations as required.

Snagging & Finishing Works:

  • Tackle finishing touches and minor snagging tasks post-installation to ensure high-quality presentation and handover standards are met.

Tool & Material Management:

  • Ensure tools and materials are safely stored, well maintained, and readily available. Report shortages or defects to the site supervisor promptly.

Requirements

  • Must have valid CSCS card
  • Must have 2+ years experience in similar roles
  • Must be based within commutable distance of Belfast City Centre
