Stone & Wood Carpentry & Building are looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Labourer to join our growing team, working across a range of residential construction and refurbishment projects.
We are looking for someone with good all-round construction experience who is confident working alongside different trades and can take responsibility for tasks on site without needing constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting carpenters and other trades across our projects
- Carrying out general skilled labouring and building tasks
- Assisting with basic carpentry and other works where competent
- Site preparation and protection
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Moving, preparing and organising materials
- Assisting with deliveries and collections where required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Helping the site team keep projects progressing efficiently

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working on residential construction, refurbishment or similar projects
- Good practical knowledge and confidence working on a building site
- Must have own tools
- Full driving licence required
- Ability to travel independently to sites across Greater London and surrounding areas
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when working in clients’ homes
