About CES Windows
CES Windows is an established window and door installation business based in Levenshulme, Manchester. We specialise in the supply and installation of high-quality windows, doors and related products.
We are looking for a reliable and skilled labourer to join our team and support our fitters on a variety of window and door installation projects across Manchester and the surrounding areas.
The Role
As a skilled labourer, you will work alongside our experienced window and door fitters, helping with the preparation, removal and installation of windows and doors.
The role would suit someone who is practical, hardworking and confident using hand tools, with previous experience in window fitting, construction, property maintenance or a similar trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation of UPVC and aluminium windows and doors
- Removing existing windows, doors and frames safely
- Preparing openings and work areas before installation
- Loading, unloading and transporting materials and tools
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Assisting fitters with fitting, securing and finishing windows and doors
- Carrying out general building and making-good work where required
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
- Carrying out other general labouring and site duties as required

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Ideally experienced in construction, window/door installation or a similar practical trade
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and carrying materials
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well as part of a small team
- Practical and able to use their own initiative
- Comfortable working in customers' homes
- Careful and conscientious, with good attention to detail
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Willing to learn and develop their skills

Previous experience in window and door installation would be desirable, although we will consider candidates with strong general construction or some trade experience.
A full UK driving licence required.
