Role Description
The Skilled Labourer will support a range of construction activities, including:
- Assisting tradespeople
- Preparing and maintaining work areas
- Handling materials
- Using basic tools and equipment safely

- Demolition
- Site clearance
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Helping with the installation of structural and finishing elements
The role includes:
- Following health and safety procedures
- Keeping the site clean and organized
- Reporting any issues to supervisors
The Skilled Labourer is expected to:
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Meet project timelines
- Maintain a professional approach with colleagues and clients
Qualifications
- Practical construction skills, including safe use of hand and power tools, material handling, and basic building tasks.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices, including use of PPE and adherence to site safety instructions.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, read basic plans or measurements, and complete tasks with attention to detail.
- Reliable work ethic, good time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or general laboring is beneficial but not essential.
- Full, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Crewkerne site is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to different tasks, and undertake additional training or certifications as required.
