Skilled Operatives for Network Rail Reactive Civils Framework
We are looking for Skilled Operatives to work on the Network Rail Reactive Civils Framework.
Your Responsibilities:
- As a Skilled Operative at CML you will always work in a safe manner following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times.
- You will work on the Reactive Civils Framework undertaking railway maintenance work including but not limited to station platforms & station buildings.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles materials, tools and plant equipment under your control are fit for use and are used, stored & disposed of correctly and any defects are reported immediately to H&S and / or your Manager.
- Teamwork is key in delivering our works effectively, therefore when you aren’t required to use your daily skills / trades on the job, you will be expected to undertake other reasonable duties to ensure collaboration in meeting deadlines.
Person Specification:
The perfect candidate:
- We look for Operatives who are multi skilled, but have a good trade or experience in construction trades, such as:
- Joinery
- Bricklaying
- General Construction

Advantageous qualifications:
- PTS, COSS, SSSTS, SMSTS, PASMA, IPAF, small tools, Temporary works supervisor/coordinator, First Aid, street works, IRATA, rail trolley, weed spray, chainsaw, strimmer etc.
