With 80 years experience, Willerby has been the UK’s largest manufacturer of holiday homes and lodges. We love designing practical and beautiful homes for parks not only in the UK but also across the world.
We currently have openings across our production lines for both Grade A and Grade B positions.
Skilled Joiner (Grade A)
We are seeking a highly competent Skilled Joiner to produce top-quality woodwork and structural components on our busy roof bench area of our production line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working from technical drawings, constructing and fitting timber frames
- Ensuring a high-quality finish on all structural work
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a joiner (ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing or modular building environment)
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work independently to high standards
Skilled Furnisher (Grade A)
We are looking for a meticulous Skilled Furnisher to handle the final interior fit-outs, ensuring our products look flawless before they reach the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing fixed and freestanding furniture
- Fitting interior trims
- Ensuring all interior elements are finished to the highest specification
Requirements:
- Previous experience in carpentry, cabinet making, or interior fitting
- A keen eye for detail
- A passion for delivering a premium finish

Jig Shop Operative (Grade B)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual to support our core manufacturing processes by building and maintaining the production jigs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the assembly, repair, and maintenance of production jigs
- Using hand and power tools
- Ensuring the jig shop area of our production line has the necessary framework to operate efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a workshop or production environment is preferred
- Good practical skills
- A strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn

Accountabilities
- Ensure the quality standards set by the company. Responsible for liaising with the Supervisor and other operatives to ensure a safe and smooth running of the line.
- Is able to read & interpret technical drawings; ensure all information is in date & check revisions on latest version of drawing to avoid NCRs.
- Check batch card, in good time, ensuring necessary materials are available, for relevant options that affects build.
- Ensure all appropriate PPE is worn at all times when working at height.
- Check all materials are fit for use & are to the correct specification before use; is able to identify materials or components built by other departments that are unfit for use or to incorrect specification.
- Check all tooling is damage free & fit for use, e.g. safety features are all working.
- Work to tolerances of the technical drawings and to a high standard.
- Has the ability to inspect finished bulkhead/section/roof fixing or interior furnishings to ensure compliance & high quality standards are met.
- Communicate any errors or issues which could have an effect on production to the Supervisor immediately.
- Ensure tools are used in a safe manner, adhering to instructions given in OPLs and SWIs.
- Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times.
- Assist with housekeeping & 5’s.
- Undertake waste management duties, ensuring all recycling is processed efficiently, operating machinery where appropriate in a safe manner.
