About The Role
A Skilled Trackman / Labourer is required for a short-term rail blockade project in Newcastle upon Tyne, running from 14th to 23rd August 2026. This full-time position offers £17.00 per hour via Umbrella PAYE. The successful candidate will perform general labouring duties, maintain site cleanliness, and support the wider team to ensure a safe working environment during the blockade. Essential certifications include Manual Handling, Small Tools, and Abrasive Wheels. Previous trackside experience is preferred. You must be dependable and available for the entire duration.
