About Premier Motors
Premier Motors is recruiting experienced Car and Van Technicians, and there has never been a better time to join our team. As part of our continued expansion, we are delighted to welcome Peugeot to our established Ford and MG Motor franchises, while continuing to provide servicing and repairs for vehicles of all makes and models. We also operate a busy commercial workshop, supporting several large local fleets.
If you are a skilled, motivated Vehicle Technician, we would love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional Aftersales team within a well-established, successful, and growing island business.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven workshop experience, with franchised dealer experience considered an advantage.
- Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications, ideally to a minimum of Level 3 in automotive repair. Previous manufacturer experience and electric vehicle knowledge would also be beneficial.
- The ability to diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and consistently deliver a high standard of workmanship.
- A customer-focused approach, combined with a positive, approachable, and professional manner.
- A self-motivated and conscientious attitude, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to remain organised and focused under pressure.
- A full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles to manufacturer and company standards.
- Complete vehicle health checks and accurately identify any additional work required.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
- Record repair information and complete all associated job documentation accurately.
- Work collaboratively with the Service Advisors and Parts Department to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.
- Keep up to date with manufacturer training, technical bulletins and industry developments, including hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
- Support the team in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by working professionally, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues where required.
