Skills Development Partner

We are partnering with a growing, PE-backed organisation to hire a Skills Development Partner.

This is a strategically important, hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of a broad Learning & Capability agenda and turn ideas into tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the job architecture, career frameworks and skills agenda, developing clear career pathways and embedding them across the business
  • Lead a workforce programmes, exploring how AI and automation will impact roles, skills and future capability
  • Develop AI and future skills initiatives, including an AI curriculum and AI Champions programme
  • Connect career frameworks with broader upskilling and capability development across key functions
  • Develop learning programmes across different business areas
  • Support coaching, mentoring and AI-enabled learning initiatives
  • Project manage key workstreams from concept through to implementation and go-live
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability needs and drive engagement with new approaches

  • Strong background in Learning & Development, Talent or Learning & Capability
  • Experience across job architecture, career frameworks, skills and career pathways
  • Strong project management and end-to-end implementation experience
  • Strategic thinker who is also hands-on and delivery focused
  • Strong stakeholder influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing and ambiguous environment
  • Genuine interest in AI, future skills and workforce evolution
  • A strong builder mentality, able to take ideas from concept through to execution
