Skills / Lifting Instructor
3t is currently looking to recruit a Skills / Lifting Instructor on a permanent contract in Aberdeen, UK.

This role is contracted at 40 hours per week. The working hours for this role are 7.30am to 4.15pm, Monday to Friday, including a 45-minute unpaid lunch break.

Role Purpose
To deliver 3t’ approved suite of courses within the given technical subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional way which reflects 3t’ business integrity and culture.

Key Responsibilities
- To deliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements
- To support customers during course delivery as appropriate
- To participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as required
- To provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
- Apply 3t and where appropriate Client’s HSE Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all times

Essential Criteria
- Industry recognised Assessor Qualification, SQA / OPITO or equivalent
- Industry recognised Instructor / Teaching Qualification
- Relevant lifting qualifications / certification, OPITO Rigger Competence Assessment or Reassessment, OPITO Banksman Slinger Competence Assessment or Reassessment
- Offshore Crane Operator Certification
Courses initially required to deliver:
- OPITO Rigger / Banksman Initial Training
- OPITO Rigger / Banksman Competence Assessments
- Loler Competent Person
- Client bespoke lifting courses as required
- Variety of HSE courses
