Role Overview
We are seeking a Skin Health & Hair Care Marketing Director, Northern Europe to join our business. This position is based at our Reading office with a hybrid working policy and reports to the Northern Europe Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
As the leader of the Skin Health & Hair Care Squad, you will:

Drive Category Growth:
- Lead the Northern Europe Skin Health & Hair Care strategy to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
- Own category performance and full P&L accountability.
- Shape and deliver three-year operating plans aligned with regional and global priorities.
- Identify and size growth opportunities using consumer insight, analytics, market trends, and innovation.

Influence Global Strategy:
- Represent Northern Europe as a priority market within Global Brand Teams.
- Influence global innovation roadmaps, communication strategies, claims development, HCP engagement plans, and portfolio priorities.
- Ensure local consumer, customer, and market insights are reflected in global decision-making.

Deliver Commercial and Marketing Excellence:
- Partner with Customer Development, Revenue Growth Management, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to unlock category growth.
- Drive excellence in integrated business planning, media, data-driven marketing, e-commerce, retail media, perfect store execution, HCP engagement, and customer activation.
- Build differentiated category growth plans with key retail partners across the cluster.
- Use performance data and insight to optimise marketing investment, content, and activation plans.

Lead High-Performing Teams:
- Develop and inspire a diverse, high-performing team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop direct reports, support succession planning, and build organizational capability.
- Lead the cross-functional squad, driving energy, engagement, and business impact.
- Help shape the wider Northern Europe strategy and improve ways of working as a member of the Marketing Leadership Team.

Shape the Future of the Category:
- Represent Client through relevant industry associations and external forums, including the Cosmetics Trade Association.
- Monitor category trends, emerging consumer behaviors, technology, and competitive developments.
- Champion modern marketing capabilities, including advanced analytics, digital, and omnichannel growth, and responsible use of AI-enabled marketing tools.
Experience Required
- Significant marketing people leadership experience within consumer healthcare, FMCG, beauty, personal care, or an adjacent category.
- A strong track record of delivering sustainable business growth and managing complex brand portfolios.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience owning or materially influencing P&L performance.
- Local UK Commercial/Activation experience.
- Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams and cross-functional organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams.
- Strong analytical capability and a record of translating insight into clear decisions and action.
- Experience developing and deploying integrated marketing, media, content, and activation strategies.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Skin Health, Hair Care, Beauty, or Consumer Health.
- Experience working across multiple European markets.
- Understanding of healthcare professional and influencer strategy and activation.
- Experience accelerating e-commerce, retail media, or digital transformation.
