Role Description
The Skip Driver is responsible for the safe collection, transportation, and delivery of skips to and from customer sites and company facilities. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves interacting with customers and site teams, completing delivery and collection documentation, and reporting any issues or hazards promptly. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Attleborough, requiring reliability, punctuality, and a safety-focused approach to work.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills, including safe operation of HGV vehicles and maneuvering in varied site and road conditions.
- Valid Class 2 HGV (or equivalent appropriate license) and a clean driving record.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, site teams, and management.
- Customer service skills for professional, respectful interaction with clients and the public.
- Experience working with skip trucks or similar vehicles, including loading, unloading, and securing skips.
- Good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform routine checks.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to demolition, construction, or waste management environments.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and follow company procedures and documentation requirements.
- Reliable attendance, flexibility to work required shifts, and physical ability to handle the demands of the role.
- Previous experience in demolition, waste management, or construction transport is beneficial.
