Skip Driver
We are recruiting experienced Skip Drivers to join a busy waste management and recycling company in Wimbledon. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Skip Driver with Class 2 driving experience who is looking for ongoing work, weekly pay, consistent hours, and long-term career prospects.
Working as a Skip Driver, you will operate a Class 2 HGV skip vehicle, delivering, exchanging, and collecting skips for both commercial and residential customers. The role requires a strong understanding of transport compliance, driver hours regulations, health & safety procedures, and excellent customer service skills.
Previous experience within the waste management, recycling, skip hire, or construction sectors would be highly advantageous. However, we are also keen to hear from motivated Class 2 HGV Drivers who are eager to learn and build a career within the waste industry. A full one-week training programme will be provided for the right candidate.
This is a hands-on role that involves more than just driving. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, interacting with customers, and supporting daily operational activities. The role can be physically demanding and may not be suitable for everyone, but for individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to get involved, it offers excellent long-term opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
