Spectrum Vessel Services Ltd operates crew transfer and survey vessels supporting offshore wind, cable, and marine projects across the UK and Northwest Europe. The company is based in Ramsgate and operates a fleet of crew transfer vessels (CTVs).
Position
Skipper / Yachtmaster / Master 200+
Typical Duties
- Safe navigation and operation of crew transfer and survey vessels.
- Personnel and cargo transfers to offshore assets.
- Leading onboard training and emergency drills.
- Vessel inspections, maintenance checks, and documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations.
Essential Qualifications (minimum)
- STCW Basic Safety Training:
- Elementary First Aid
- Fire Fighting
- Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
- Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (PSSR)
- Security awareness
- Valid ENG1 Medical
- Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster
- Short Range VHF - GMDSS ROC or GOC certificate.
- Stability
- MCA approved Radar and Navigation

Preferred Qualifications
- Master 200t / OOW 500t
- AEC1
- Crane Operator certification
- Medical First Aid
- IMDG training
- AED training
- Experience in offshore renewables, crew transfer vessels, or survey operations.
