Sleep-In Night Support Worker – Young People’s Supported Accommodation

Location: Gloucester

Pay: £80.19 per sleep-in (+£13.46 per hour for any work undertaken during the night when needed)

Join Our Team at Carbrey

Carbrey is a friendly, family run organisation providing safe, supportive homes for young people aged 16–18 who can’t live with their families.

We’re looking for caring, reliable people to join our bank team and help us keep our homes secure and welcoming overnight.

About the Role

As an essential part of the team you will:

  • Be the reassuring, responsible adult on site through the night – working lone shifts in one of our Gloucester homes.
  • Check that everyone has returned safely in the evening and follow up if needed.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the house and young people while they sleep.
  • Provide calm, practical support if a young person needs help during the night (paid at the hourly rate).
  • Complete clear records and hand over information to day staff.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
