Careys are recruiting experienced Slinger Signallers to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Teesside.
You will support lifting operations associated with reinforced concrete structures, drainage works, roads and infrastructure construction.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out slinging and signalling duties to support safe lifting operations across the site.
- Attach, inspect and secure loads using the appropriate lifting accessories and equipment.
- Communicate clearly with crane operators using recognised hand and radio signals.
- Maintain exclusion zones and ensure lifting activities are carried out in accordance with lift plans and site procedures.
- Work closely with crane operators, supervisors and site teams to deliver lifting operations safely and efficiently.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Blue CPCS Slinger Signaller Card or NPORS Competent Operator Card with CSCS Logo
- Proven experience on heavy civils projects
- Experience directing lifting operations safely
- Strong commitment to health and safety
Desirable:
- Experience with crawler cranes
- Experience with mobile cranes
- Reinforced concrete structures
- Major infrastructure projects
