Experienced Slinger/Signaller Required

Experienced Slinger/Signaller required for a busy high-rise student accommodation project in Southampton. You will be working closely with the tower crane team, safely moving materials around the site and assisting with day-to-day lifting operations.

Duties Include:

  • Slinging and signalling loads to and from tower cranes
  • Moving shuttering materials, frames, formwork and general construction materials
  • Using radios and standard hand signals to direct crane operators
  • Checking slings, chains, shackles and other lifting accessories
  • Following lift plans, RAMS and site procedures
  • Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations
  • Positioning and distributing materials around the building
  • General slinger/signaller duties and assisting the site team when required
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working area

  • CPCS/NPORS All Duties Ticket
  • Previous tower crane and high-rise construction experience
  • Experience with shuttering/formwork materials preferred
  • Good understanding of safe lifting operations
  • Full PPE
  • Reliable and available to start Monday
