Experienced Slinger/Signaller Required
Experienced Slinger/Signaller required for a busy high-rise student accommodation project in Southampton. You will be working closely with the tower crane team, safely moving materials around the site and assisting with day-to-day lifting operations.
Duties Include:
- Slinging and signalling loads to and from tower cranes
- Moving shuttering materials, frames, formwork and general construction materials
- Using radios and standard hand signals to direct crane operators
- Checking slings, chains, shackles and other lifting accessories
- Following lift plans, RAMS and site procedures
- Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations
- Positioning and distributing materials around the building
- General slinger/signaller duties and assisting the site team when required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working area

- CPCS/NPORS All Duties Ticket
- Previous tower crane and high-rise construction experience
- Experience with shuttering/formwork materials preferred
- Good understanding of safe lifting operations
- Full PPE
- Reliable and available to start Monday
