RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate the Bar Shear (Slugger) to process carbon steel bar.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Address quality issues in a timely fashion as they arise to ensure they are resolved.
- Responsible for ensuring all materials are readily available to ensure production efficiency.
- Operates equipment within general work instructions.
- Maintains production related records.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting and operating industrial equipment.
- An understanding of fabrication component parts.
- Ability to read blueprints and read and understand a digital length gauge, calipers, mics.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Understand how to use and apply a tape measure adequately.
- Shift work may be required.
