Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgeon

East of England Veterinary Specialists, Royston (Nr Cambridge), United Kingdom

We are an established small animal orthopaedic referral specialist clinic seeking to recruit an additional orthopaedic surgeon to join our current team.

We are looking for an RCVS/ECVS/ACVS diplomat surgeon, with enthusiasm and commitment to small animal orthopaedics, with good interpersonal skills and a positive outlook, who wants to work with us in a progressive, friendly and very supportive environment.

East of England Veterinary Specialists is located southwest of Cambridge, UK, one hour north of London. Our current clinical staff comprises 2 diplomat orthopaedic surgeons and residency-trained board eligible surgeon, one surgery resident, one intern and an excellent team of nurses and animal care assistants. We have on site CT and a DR imaging system that supports intra-operative imaging. We are fully equipped with the normal range of orthopaedic surgical equipment enabling procedures from arthroscopy through to joint replacement.

Responsibilities

  • Join a team of experienced orthopaedic specialists in a referral clinic.
  • Perform a range of orthopaedic surgical procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of nurses and animal care assistants.

Requirements

  • RCVS/ECVS/ACVS diplomat surgeon.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to small animal orthopaedics.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive outlook.
