Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
About the Revenue team
The Revenue team drives Affirm's top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimisation to help partners succeed. We deliver value-added solutions, drive adoption, and support long-term business growth by connecting merchants and consumers through Affirm's products.
About the role
As a Small Business Account Executive I, you'll fuel Affirm's UK growth by acquiring and onboarding small and mid-sized merchants. You'll own a high-volume pipeline end to end, introducing merchants to Affirm's buy now, pay later products and helping them grow through flexible, honest financing.
What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate, and close new SMB merchant partnerships across the UK market.
- Build and manage a healthy, high-volume pipeline, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly quota.
- Run consultative conversations with founders, owners, and decision-makers, tailoring Affirm's value proposition to each merchant's goals.
- Drive merchant activation and early adoption, partnering with onboarding and account management teams to ensure a smooth launch.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity data in the CRM.
- Act as a voice of the UK SMB market internally, sharing feedback with Product, Marketing, and Partnerships to improve our offering.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
