Position Overview

We’re looking for a skilled, adaptable Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work on a wide variety of equipment — from classic gas-powered engines to cutting-edge battery systems — keeping our customers’ machines running at their best. If you’re mechanically inclined, eager to stay ahead of industry trends, and passionate about problem-solving, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

🔧 Service & Repair

  • Maintain and repair small engine equipment, including two-stroke and four-stroke engines, carburetors, and ignition systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues using the latest tools and techniques.
  • Perform pre-season and post-season service on snowblowers, mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and more.
  • PDI of new equipment

🔋 Battery & Electric Equipment

  • Service and repair electric-powered equipment like zero-turn mowers, robotic mowers, and handheld tools.
  • Test and maintain battery systems, perform software updates, and ensure optimal performance.
  • Stay on top of advancements in battery technology and apply them in daily work.

📊 Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.
  • Stay connected with manufacturers and suppliers for updates and bulletins.
  • Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure and efficient workspace.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in small engine repair or a related field.
  • Knowledge of battery-powered equipment and electric motors is a strong asset.
  • Sharp diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities (mechanical and electrical).
  • Hands-on experience with common tools and repair equipment.
  • Solid attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record (for any on-site service calls).
  • Willingness to learn and grow with ongoing training.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and handle parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, in all seasons.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
