About Alora Studio

Alora Studio is Birmingham’s first high-intensity Lagree studio, opening in autumn 2026. We deliver deep, low-impact, high-intensity workouts on state-of-the-art Lagree Megaformers, engineered to build strength, endurance, and core control. Our space combines high-energy, results-driven instruction with a seamless, premium client experience.

The Role

We are seeking passionate, high-energy Instructors to join our founding teaching team. Whether leading a packed 10-person group class or delivering a tailored 1-on-1 private session, you will drive dynamic, physically challenging classes that push clients to their limits while maintaining form, safety, and motivation.

Beyond the floor, our instructors play a pivotal role in driving client retention, building a high-end community, and representing the Alora brand.

We are currently hiring for:

  • 2x Full-Time Weekday Positions (37.5 hours/week | Shift options: Early Morning/Midday OR Midday/Evening)
  • 1x Part-Time Weekend Specialist (Saturday Shift | 8.5 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-intensity, deeply challenging, and results-focused Lagree classes on the Megaformer.
  • Structure dynamic, challenging, progressive routines that offer seamless class flow, precise verbal cues, and hands-on form corrections.
  • Offer immediate, safe exercise modifications and regressions for varying fitness levels or injuries.
  • Drive member retention, build strong relationships with a premium clientele, and confidently introduce studio memberships and package options.
  • Conduct high-touch 1-on-1 private client onboarding and training sessions.
  • Support daily studio maintenance, machine resets, carriage sanitisation, and equipment checks.
  • Collaborate on brand outreach, content creation, and community engagement.

About You

Qualifications: Certified Lagree Instructor (Level 1) preferred. Candidates with strong Reformer/Mat Pilates experience or NVQ Level 2/3 Fitness Qualifications will also be considered (Full Lagree Certification training will be provided).

Skills: Basic GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent).

Experience: Proven track record in teaching small group fitness and/or 1-on-1 private sessions.

Presence: Commanding floor presence with high energy, excellent music sense, and strong motivational coaching skills.

Client Focus: Experience building and retaining a premium client base within boutique fitness or high-end hospitality environments.

Compliance: Valid First Aid/CPR certification and active professional liability insurance (or willingness to secure prior to start date).
