POSITION PURPOSE

An experienced and team-focused operational professional with strong on-road and touring knowledge, excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This exciting role will support the day-to-day operation and delivery of Small Group Tours, working closely with the Operations Manager and wider TTC teams to ensure smooth tour delivery, high operational standards and outstanding guest experiences throughout each journey.

As part of a brand-new department and initiative within TTC, this is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting the growth and development of an exciting new area of the business. The successful individual will work closely with on-road teams, providing guidance, support and coaching while helping to ensure they are equipped to deliver the evolving Small Group Travel Experience.

Working alongside the Operations Manager, the role will contribute to operational planning, team development, quality control and continuous improvement. The successful individual will be proactive, solutions-focused and detail-oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships across field and office operations.

The role would suit an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities and is passionate about operational excellence, teamwork and delivering exceptional service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with the successful day-to-day operation and delivery of Small Group Tours across TTC Touring Brands, helping to ensure consistency, quality and operational excellence.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to on-road teams, helping them resolve routine operational challenges and ensuring they have the information and resources required to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Support in monitoring tour delivery, identifying operational trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of on-road teams, ensuring they are equipped to deliver the evolving Small Group Travel Experience.
  • Act as a key point of contact for on-road teams, building strong relationships and maintaining effective communication between on road and office operations.
  • Assist with the management and monitoring of operational processes, communications and Quality Control procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of brand standards, ensuring teams understand and consistently adhere to required operational expectations.
  • Support with the planning and delivery of seasonal meetings, training sessions and the annual TD Meeting, helping to ensure alignment, engagement and team motivation.
  • Provide support during operational incidents and on-trip challenges, working with the relevant teams to ensure appropriate and timely resolutions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery and continued development of the Small Group Tours programme.
