Job Description: Small Works Fire Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Small Works Fire Engineer to install, commission, and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in the London region. In this field-based role, you will manage small projects independently, ensure compliance with BS5839, and deliver high-quality fire safety solutions through fault finding, remedial work, and system upgrades.
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday
Salary: OTE £65k+ (uncapped)
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
- Produce quotations for small works and manage jobs from enquiry to completion
- Work with recommendations, commercial teams, and Key Account Managers to progress opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication throughout each project
- Identify upgrade and improvement opportunities for clients
- Manage your own diary and area
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience as a Fire Engineer with strong fire alarm system knowledge
- Ability to work at height; IPAF 3a/3b advantageous
- Strong customer-focused approach and ability to work independently
- Real teamwork ethic and a can-do attitude
- Current Driving Licence
- Desire to work hard and be rewarded
