Rate: £350 per day

Trevett Services are working with a leading UK defence, engineering and technology organisation to recruit a Small Works Manager based at their Gosport site.
You will be responsible for the site-based delivery of refurbishment and small works projects valued up to £1m, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard within a secure, operational environment.

- Manage and supervise refurbishment and small works projects up to £1m.
- Provide day-to-day site supervision, coordinating works and site activities.
- Manage permits to work, RAMS and site health & safety requirements.
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and in line with programme and specification.
- Coordinate multiple trades and contractors within a live operational environment.
- Monitor progress, quality, risks and programme.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Manage works through to completion and handover.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing refurbishment, fit-out or small works projects.
- Have SC clearance in place or eligible to gain clearance.
- Strong site management/supervision experience.
- Experience managing permits, RAMS and subcontractors.
- Good knowledge of construction health & safety.
- Experience delivering projects within live or occupied environments.
- Defence, MOD or secure-site experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to obtain the required security clearance.

The Opportunity
A 6–12 month temporary role paying £350 per day, delivering a varied programme of refurbishment and small works projects across a complex defence estate in Gosport.
