Job Opportunity: Small Works Manager
We are looking for a Small Works Manager with a strong trade background to join our growing team on a full time, permanent basis. The role will be based at our Cobham Office but will require travel across our commercial sites in High Wycombe, Halton and Reading areas. You’ll be responsible for liaising with our site teams and clients to price and quote small works projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple small works projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion
- Conduct detailed site surveys to assess project requirements and identify any potential risks
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations and schedules of works for a variety of small works projects
- Procure materials and coordinate labour and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly
- Produce, review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMs)
- Carry out regular site visits to oversee day to day operations, monitor progress and address any issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout each project providing regular progress updates
- Monitor project costs, variations and budgets to maintain effective cost control throughout
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Requirements
- Strong carpentry and plumbing knowledge (preferably from the tools)
- Proven supervisor or management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to pass security vetting
