Smart Repair
Location: Huddersfield
Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 (DOE) + Bonus
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Smart Repair specialist to join their professional and friendly team in Huddersfield. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality SMART repairs across a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timescales. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes real pride in their workmanship and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of SMART repairs including:
- Localised paint rectification
- Cosmetic paintwork
- Light filler repairs
- Windscreen chip repairs
- Alloy wheel refurbishment
- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
- Maximise productivity and support the smooth running of the workshop
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste or improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate and compliant repair records
- Work independently and as part of a supportive team

About You
- Minimum 5 years’ SMART repair experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in delivering top-quality work
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport
- Self-motivated, resilient, and committed to continuous improvement
- Right to work in the UK
