🚨 Hiring: SmartRecruiters Functional Lead 🚨

πŸ“ Location: Nationwide – Remote / Hybrid (London, 2 days per week onsite)
πŸ“… Contract Length: 6 Months

We are looking for an experienced SmartRecruiters Functional Lead / Functional Consultant to act as the product and business process expert for a leading recruitment platform. This role will work closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Digital teams, and third-party suppliers to translate business requirements into effective functional solutions, optimise platform performance, and drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Functional Lead and Subject Matter Expert for SmartRecruiters.
  • Provide expert guidance on SmartRecruiters capabilities, functionality, and best practices.
  • Lead workshops with HR, recruitment, and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
  • Design and implement end-to-end recruitment process improvements to enhance user and candidate experience.
  • Configure and maintain SmartRecruiters modules, including:
    • Requisitions
    • Job Advertising
    • Candidate Management
    • Workflows & Approvals
    • Interview Scheduling
    • Offer Management
    • Reporting & Analytics
    • Embedded AI Functionality
    • MeVitae Integration
  • Develop recruitment dashboards, reports, and analytics to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and platform optimisation.
  • Create functional specifications, process maps, user guides, and training materials.
  • Support user adoption, stakeholder engagement, and change management initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and service providers.
  • Support integrations with SAP Employee Central and other associated systems.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience working with SmartRecruiters in a Functional Lead, Functional Consultant, Product Owner, or Business Systems role.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes.
  • Experience configuring recruitment workflows and business processes within SmartRecruiters.
  • Proven experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and service providers.
  • Understanding of reporting, KPI development, and data management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting SmartRecruiters implementations or large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Experience integrating SmartRecruiters with HR, ERP, and identity management platforms.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Employee Central.
  • SmartRecruiters certification or equivalent practical experience.
