SMCR Analyst
Location: London
Role Type: Contract - 6 months
Work Setup: Hybrid - 4 days a week in the office

What you'll do
- Develop and improve SMCR policies, frameworks and processes covering Senior Managers, Certified Persons and the UK Conduct Rules population.
- Partner with Compliance, HR, Reward and other stakeholders to ensure SMCR processes remain aligned with regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Support the implementation of a new SMCR management system, including process mapping, documentation, data reconciliation and automation opportunities.
- Manage Certified Person lifecycle activities, including Fit & Proper assessments, certification, FCA Directory maintenance and related reporting.
- Maintain accurate SMCR records and documentation, produce reporting materials, and support Talent Acquisition with SMF and CP-related queries.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across EMEA and the US, while taking ownership of controls, supporting continuous improvement and educating colleagues.

What you bring
- Strong knowledge of SMCR within the Financial Services sector, with experience supporting ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Experience using SMCR management systems to maintain records and manage certification processes.
- Previous experience within Compliance or working closely with Compliance and Operational Risk teams.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Structured and methodical approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- High level of discretion, integrity and professionalism, with experience working in an HR environment.
