We are looking to recruit a Surface Mount Machine Operator to join our department and assist in running our Surface Mount Line.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing.
  • Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT Printers, Pick and Place Machines, Ovens, AOI equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to meet company standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Maintain all housekeeping/safety regulations including the handling of hazardous materials.

Skills, Experience and Person Specification

  • At least one year of experience. Role training will be provided where needed.
  • Experience on SMT, Europlacer pick and place equipment.
  • Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and read diagrams.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

  • Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 14.00 - 22.00 - Friday: 13.00 - 20.00.
