Job Description
We’re searching for a passionate and motivated Account Manager to join our highly successful Manchester team. In this Sales Entry role, the expectation will be around High levels of activity that requires you to focus on building and retaining relationships with a large number of currently unmanaged accounts, many of which may not be familiar with Wavenet due to previous acquisitions or limited contact.
Your mission is to reintroduce Wavenet and yourself, uncover the wealth of new opportunities for cross selling and upselling, and develop these accounts into long-lasting partnerships. You’ll play a crucial role in guiding businesses as they transition from legacy systems like PSTN/ISDN to modern, scalable solutions.
I stress again this role is high activity and requires a highly focussed driven individual with the will to succeed in Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Re-engage with Accounts: Build trust and relationships with dormant or unmanaged accounts.
- Opportunity Identification: Spot and pursue product sales and upselling opportunities across Wavenet’s diverse portfolio.
- Client Education: Inform clients about the PSTN switch-off, positioning Wavenet as their trusted migration partner.
- Portfolio Management: Drive positive growth and retention within a portfolio of accounts.
- Tailored Solutions: Deliver customised solutions in connectivity, VoIP, cloud, and security.
- Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records and pipeline information in the CRM system.
- Proposal Delivery: Present proposals, negotiate deals, and successfully close business.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for clients.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Hunger here is the key! Looking for someone with some sales experience and an understanding that your input will drive your output.
- Relationship Builder: A natural ability to nurture relationships to drive business success.
- Communication Skills: Excellent listening and communication abilities.
- Proactive Approach: Quick thinker with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Problem-Solver: An ability to use initiative, negotiate, present, and demonstrable ability of resolving challenges.
- Multi-Account Management: Comfortable managing a high number of accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Tech-Savvy: Quick learner especially regarding the CRM systems and confidence in using sales tools.
- Growth mindset: A fast learner with a "let's go" attitude and a desire to grow professionally.
