About The Role
Based in Fawley, the SME Administrator position offers a varied role blending clerical duties with warehouse coordination. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent contract pays between £13.10 and £13.49 hourly, with the higher rate for those holding a valid forklift licence. Working Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:15, finishing at 15:00 on Fridays, you will handle a shared inbox, process orders through an online platform, and support daily operations. Candidates with current forklift certification will also undertake driving tasks. Those without experience focus purely on administrative functions. Strong organisational skills and computer literacy are essential for managing enquiries efficiently within this established distribution setting.

Pay Rates
- £13.49 per hour for candidates with forklift experience/licence
- £13.10 per hour for candidates without forklift experience who will be working in an administration only capacity

This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering the potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily enquiries via a shared mailbox
- Process and manage daily orders through an online application system
- Maintain and update MSDS and communicate any changes
- Produce open bin pick lists
- Manage and investigate non-conformance issues, including stock discrepancies
- Update spreadsheets and carry out warehouse and system checks to resolve receipt discrepancies
- Raise PMI requests
- Collate daily documents for scanning and uploading to SAP
- Provide general administrative and warehouse support
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from management
- Follow all site Health & Safety and personnel safety procedures
- Take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of colleagues
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous administrative experience, preferably within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Good organisational, analytical and communication skills
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Previous SAP experience would be advantageous, although training can be provided
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
- Strong problem solving skills
- The confidence to work independently while also being part of a team
- A proactive approach and the ability to use initiative
- Forklift experience is highly desirable but not essential
