This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader who enjoys developing others, improving service delivery and creating an environment where teams can succeed. You'll lead a team responsible for supporting SME clients, helping ensure we consistently deliver high-quality service while meeting operational and regulatory standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team within our SME Broking Operations function.
  • Creating a positive and engaging team environment focused on performance and wellbeing.
  • Managing workloads, workflows and team priorities to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Supporting compliance, quality and operational standards.
  • Coaching colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Working with leaders and stakeholders across the business to improve processes and customer outcomes.
  • Contributing to operational improvements and business growth initiatives.

What we're looking for

You'll be someone who enjoys bringing out the best in people and creating high-performing teams.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience leading teams within insurance, broking, client service or operational environments.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and communication skills.
  • Experience managing operational performance and service delivery.
  • Understanding of FCA and Consumer Duty requirements.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with Acturis or a similar insurance platform.

Experience within SME insurance or commercial broking would be advantageous but isn't essential.
