Company Description

domusIQ MGA (UK) Ltd is a London-based managing general agent (MGA) that treats underwriting as a data-led discipline rather than a box-ticking exercise. The company uses AI-driven technology to look beyond static data and understand how assets are used, how operations are managed, and where vulnerabilities and exposures may evolve over time. By combining strong underwriting fundamentals with advanced analytics on asset conditions, operational resilience, occupancy patterns, and emerging signals, domusIQ delivers more informed decision-making and better risk selection. This approach supports proactive responses to changing exposure and greater transparency for customers and risk partners. domusIQ MGA (UK) Ltd operates under the regulatory framework of the Financial Conduct Authority via Davies MGA Services Limited and is registered in England and Wales.

Role Description

The SME Underwriter will be responsible for assessing and underwriting small and medium-sized enterprise risks covering property and liability, ensuring that decisions align with domusIQ’s data-led underwriting philosophy. Day-to-day tasks include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
