The Challenge

Axion Carrier Services is looking for a driven SMS Carrier Account Director to run their own business unit within our company - with the backing, autonomy, and infrastructure to make it happen.
This is not a typical account management role. This is an opportunity to operate like a founder, with the support of an established carrier services business behind you.
About the role
You'll take full ownership of a business unit focused on SMS traffic - your own hosted switch, your own carriers, your own team, your own P&L. Our CEO works directly alongside you to support onboarding and deal-closing, but the direction, growth, and structure of your business is yours to build.
If you've got the track record and the ambition, there's no ceiling here. High performers in this role can realistically earn $100k or more annually - and that's just the start.

What you'll do
- Own and grow a portfolio of SMS carriers on your own hosted switch.
- Build and lead your own team as your business unit scales.
- Manage the P&L for your unit like it's your own company.
- Negotiate rates and routes that work for you and your partners.
- Represent Axion Carrier Services at industry conferences and build your network face to face.
- Stay ahead of market trends, pricing, and routing opportunities across the wholesale SMS space.
What we're looking for
- A proven high performer with a track record of success in wholesale SMS, or the broader telecoms/messaging industry.
- Graduate-level candidates with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
- A genuine entrepreneur - someone who wants to build and run their own business unit, not just hit quota.
- Driven to earn $100k or more annually, and confident you have what it takes to get there.
- Comfortable leading a team and owning commercial outcomes.
- Willing to travel to industry conferences as needed.
