Snowflake Consultant (multiple - different levels)

Remote (UK Based)
£40,000-85,000

This is a senior, client-facing role that blends hands-on engineering with solution design and technical leadership. You will own the design of end-to-end data solutions – from requirements, through architecture, to delivery – while mentoring colleagues and helping to shape the direction of their engineering practice.

Key Skills & Experience

Core engineering

  • Highly experienced in SQL and Python
  • Strong hands-on experience with one or more cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with data integration / ELT tooling (e.g. dbt, Fivetran, Hevo, Matillion, Azure Data Factory)
  • Dimensional data modelling and data warehouse / lakehouse design
  • Software engineering best practice: version control (Git), CI/CD, automated testing, and modular, reusable code

Solution design & architecture

  • Translating business requirements into clear, end-to-end technical solution designs
  • Designing scalable, secure and maintainable data architectures across ingestion, transformation, storage and serving layers
  • Producing solution design documentation, architecture diagrams and technical proposals and estimates
  • Evaluating and recommending platforms and tools, including build-vs-buy decisions, with clear justification
  • Balancing trade-offs across cost, performance, security, scalability and time-to-value
  • Running discovery and requirements workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
