Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of Snowflake architecture, databases, schemas, tables, stages, and warehouses.
- Basic understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
- Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Exposure to dbt, Apache Airflow, or other data-engineering tools is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Internship or academic project experience in data engineering/cloud/data warehousing is a plus.

- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and related technologies.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Load data from databases, CSV/files, APIs, and other sources into Snowflake.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Create and maintain tables, views, schemas, and basic data models.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-processing issues.
- Assist in improving Snowflake query performance and compute usage.
- Implement data-quality checks and ensure data accuracy.
- Work with senior data engineers, analysts, and other teams to understand data requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation for pipelines and data processes.
- Follow best practices for data security, access control, and version control.
- Learn and work with modern cloud data-engineering tools and technologies.
