Snr Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Newcastle (Hybrid Remote) - £33,500 (£48k OTE)

Remote First | Inbound Leads | Uncapped Commission | Progression into Closing role

Ada Meher is working with a scaling SaaS business in the Health & Safety industry as they build out their Sales & Marketing team with a Senior Sales Development Representative. Your role would be split between qualifying inbound leads from their marketing channels and also generating new leads through emails, calls and platforms such as LinkedIn / Sales Navigator. You would be responsible for qualifying the suitability of these leads against the use case of the product and booking meetings with BDMs for relevant prospects.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced sales environment, whether that be from recruitment or previous software sales, and be able to demonstrate a track record of generating and qualifying leads through LinkedIn, phone calls and email campaigns as well as other channels. The OTE bonus of £1,200 per month is completely uncapped and will be broken down into targets based on qualified leads generated as well as inbound leads qualified. You will also receive a % of the first year’s revenue for any deals closed from meetings that you book. As the business center their culture around personal development, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress into a closing role longer term.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As a remote-friendly business, the sales team currently works hybrid remote spending 1-2dpw in the Quayside office with the flexibility to work the rest of the time remotely. Once in role, there will likely be opportunity to work with even more flexibility longer term as they do have some staff that are fully remote. As such, candidates should be located in a commutable distance of Newcastle city centre.
