Responsibilities
Product Expertise
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of product features, benefits, and use cases across various industries
- Articulate the product's technical architecture and integration capabilities
- Design and present use cases/solutions for all standard and most complex scenarios
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Actively contribute to sales strategy discussions, offering technical perspectives
- Coach teammates on technical and process issues
- Develop and execute scoped evaluation plans for Proofs of Value (POVs)
- Adapt presentation style based on audience's technical expertise and role
Technical Skills
- Efficiently resolve moderate technical issues with minimal guidance
- Anticipate and proactively address common technical objections
- Collaborate with other technical team members on complex issues

Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects throughout the sales cycle
- Effectively communicate KB4 use cases, value propositions, and applicable case studies
- Tailor presentations to different audience types, highlighting relevant features and benefits
Business Acumen
- Possess solid working knowledge of sales processes, engagement workflow, and sales collateral
- Navigate the sales cycle confidently, understanding each stage and its requirements
- Engage in detailed conversations with directors and reps about sales strategy
Leadership and Mentorship
- Occasionally mentor people interested in pursuing Sales Engineering at KnowBe4
- Take ownership of specific SE project
Competitive Knowledge
- Clearly articulate core differentiators versus top 3 competitors
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 year degree or technical degree preferred
- 2-5 years of technical sales or sales engineering experience required.
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Strong technical background in cybersecurity or related field
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead complex sales engagements
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Highly organized and result-oriented
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Can demonstrate technical troubleshooting and analysis ability
- Familiarity with security awareness concepts and mail environments
- Can demonstrate integrity, accountability, respect and commitment
- Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
