SOC Analyst - Security Operations, Cloud Security, Microsoft

A client of mine is looking for a hands-on SOC Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst to support their cybersecurity function. The right candidate will have strong experience administering and securing Microsoft 365 environments.

Key Requirements

• Proven commercial experience as a SOC / Cyber Security Analyst, within a large enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms including Microsoft Defender, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, or LogRhythm.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) security.
• Knowledge of network security, including protocols, encryption, firewalls, and security solutions such as Tanium.
• Experience managing and administering IAM and Directory services.
• Knowledge of current cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security frameworks.
• Experience with Cloud Security across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat actors, attack methodologies, infection vectors, and incident investigation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to go on-site in London
