Role: Social Account Manager
Department: Social Team - Entertainment - TV/Film/Gaming
Reporting to: VP of Social
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid, 2 days in office min per week, one of which is a Thursday.

Tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Overseeing community management, selling in to the client reactive moments and better ways to engage. Handling crisis communications
- Oversees the calendar ensuring a good mix of content types and themes, and that it is cohesive with the overall strategy
- Contracting and negotiating with influencers, writing the briefs. Has formed solid relationships with the influencers and agents to negotiate better rates
- Keeping up to date on new social updates, sharing them regularly in the inspo IG and whatsapp group, presenting regularly in the biweekly session and selling in to our clients how these could be applied to their accounts
- Oversees the reporting and adds an additional layer of analysis based on knowledge of the account. Briefs in data collection to the insights team clearly and concisely with a clear understanding of the hypothesis and rationale for what we are reporting on.
- Actively looks for opportunities to expand our services, clients and offering.
- Manages more junior members' tasks, empowering them to take responsibility for their expected tasks, supporting them when they need help and advocating for additional resource needs where required.
- Continues to develop relationships within the team and agency, understanding how the collaboration leads to a better product.
- Has great communication skills to advocate for their work and their clients.
- Is reliable and consistently works well with Account Director/Head of Social, supporting them in the execution of the campaign
- Actively initiates the fundamentals of marketing in everything they do, knowing who the audience are and where to find them; works closely with the strategy team to ensure that everything is viewed through a social lense
- Monitors the time and cost of projects, ensuring we are delivering what we scoped. Works with finance to request POs and connect for invoicing

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Account Executive or similar position, in a marketing agency
- Developing new business communication skills
- Uses insight and learning in everything that they do, basing their campaign decisions on what they know works best. They are able to sell in recommendations to colleagues and clients
- Is proactive in monitoring trends and regularly updates the wider company on new innovations
- Manages the tasks of more junior members, checking in on their progress and assisting them to upskill
- Is an asset in supporting and collaborating with senior members of the team and wider company
- Advocates for social in everything they do, working collaboratively with teams across strategy, creative and insights to create a better product
- Proficient and aware of their communication in a variety of written and verbal formats with a wide range of people; external individuals, organisations, other 3rd parties etc.
- Is a go-to expert on all social platforms, innovations and opportunities, with a hunger for discovering new features and how we can use them. An expert in creative formats within Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok etc
- Has experience in managing a budget and is beginning to lead in the creation and presentation of campaign ideas and reporting
