The Role: Lead Social Activation for Branded Content
We’re hiring a Social Activation Director to bridge commercial and social functions, ensuring our branded content maximises engagement for both audiences and partners. The role sits at the intersection of creativity, analytics, and brand strategy—leading a global team that shapes how Pubity Group appears as a creative partner to brands.
Your Mission
Drive Performance & Content Evolution
- Oversee branded content performance across Pubity’s entire platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
- Maintain strict quality standards for content while pushing new formats and placements in collaboration with editorial teams.
- Stay abreast of trending performance trends and strategically direct content production based on data insights.
Build & Lead a Global Social Activation Team
- Develop a high-performing cross-timezone team capable of delivering insight-driven, creative, and scalable results.
- Set SMART goals for each team member, nurture individual growth, and establish clear processes & tools for autonomy.
- Foster a culture of accountability while empowering individuals to operate independently.

Bridge Commercial & Editorial Functions
- Convene weekly branded campaign feedback sessions with the team and monthly sessions for broader commercial alignment.
- Ensure editorial and commercial teams share a unified understanding of what’s working, shifting trends, and future opportunities.
- Collaborate with the data team to refine commercial product offerings based on performance signals.
Own Commercial Integration & Operations
- Manage the Ad Calendar and cross-functional workflows to ensure ad policies are adhered to and deadlines met.
- Partner closely with Brand Strategy and Show Development to refine product positioning and market readiness.
The Team Lead Must
You’ll bring significant experience in social or branded content leadership. We need someone who:
- Understands social performance: Has deep expertise in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, both editorial and commercial.
- Connects data to direction: Can critically analyse metrics and translate insights into actionable creative and commercial strategies.
- Builds & scales teams: Proven ability to hire, train, and manage creative teams across global time zones while maintaining productivity.
- Balances leadership & empathy: Sets high standards, gives decisive feedback, and builds trust without micromanaging.
- Manages large-scale content: Agency or in-house experience overseeing multiple content pages or social accounts at enterprise scale.
- Straddles creative & commercial spheres: Comfortable collaborating with sales and client services—fluent in both branding and business.
- Owns campaign reporting: Experience running detailed performance reviews, client debriefs, and structured feedback frameworks.
- Communicates clearly: Excellence in briefing teams, presenting data confidently, and writing content audiences actually engage with.
