Could you turn a router cutter into a viral video? Could you make job-site advice stop the scroll? Inspire the next generation of tradespeople and makers with a single post?

Trend Tool Technology is looking for a creative, commercially minded Social Activation Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. This is a hands-on role focused on creating content, activating campaigns, managing creator relationships and growing the Trend brand across social media. The role does not include direct line-management responsibility.

If you're passionate about social media, love creating content and instinctively know what makes people stop scrolling, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone who combines creativity with organisation and enjoys using data to continually improve performance.

If you've got an interest in woodworking, carpentry, tools or the trade it's an advantage, but not essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
