Group42 is looking for a Social and Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing Social and Digital Marketing team.

You will work across a sector-agnostic mix of consumer lifestyle, B2B and healthcare clients, supporting integrated campaigns that combine social media, copywriting, blog content, onsite content, SEO, digital PR, and wider marketing activity. Reporting directly to the CEO, Social/Digital leads, this role offers hands-on experience in integrated digital marketing, content planning, social media management, campaign copywriting, media amplification, SEO-led content creation, and digital PR support.

The role will help clients increase online visibility, authority and organic social growth tied into search-led content, digital PR activity, backlink acquisition and wider digital marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of Digital PR campaigns, from developing story angles and campaign ideas through to outreach and securing online coverage.
  • Identify opportunities to generate high-quality backlinks, build domain authority and improve clients’ organic search visibility.
  • Plan, create and manage social media content across client channels, including content calendars, captions, scheduling and community engagement.
  • Create platform-specific social content that reflects each client’s brand, tone of voice and target audience.
  • Write engaging, high-quality digital content and copy, including blogs, social posts, newsletters, website copy, landing pages, email content and thought leadership.
  • Carry out keyword research and support content planning to identify opportunities for organic growth and improved search performance.
  • Support SEO activity, including onsite optimisation, content recommendations and identifying opportunities to improve search visibility.
  • Create and optimise blogs, guides and website content that support SEO, Digital PR and wider client objectives.
  • Support integrated digital campaigns across social media, Digital PR, SEO, content, influencer activity and email marketing.
  • Work collaboratively with our PR and Digital teams to ensure campaigns are joined up and maximise opportunities for coverage, engagement, backlinks and organic growth.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign and content performance across social, SEO, web and Digital PR.
  • Track key metrics including reach, engagement, clicks, organic traffic, keyword performance, coverage and backlinks.
  • Produce regular client reports and use performance insights to help optimise campaigns and inform future content strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
