Social Art Director (Beauty)

We're supporting a globally recognised luxury brand in their search for a Social Art Director to join their Beauty team on an initial 3-month contract.

This is an opportunity for a creative who is deeply embedded in the beauty world, someone who understands how luxury beauty brands show up on social, how creators influence culture, and how to translate product stories into visually compelling social content.

We're looking for someone with significant experience across beauty, skincare, cosmetics or fragrance, who can combine a strong creative eye with a deep understanding of social-first storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative direction of social-first beauty content across TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms.
  • Develop beauty-focused concepts that feel native to social, including creator content, tutorials, product storytelling and campaign extensions.
  • Art direct beauty shoots with exceptional attention to skin, texture, lighting, colour and product representation.
  • Work closely with creators, influencers, photographers, stylists and production teams to deliver engaging content.
  • Create moodboards, visual treatments and creative responses to briefs.
  • Translate wider campaign and product launch activity into social-first creative executions.
  • Capture and direct short-form content where required, including iPhone-led content.
  • Ensure content is optimised for platform behaviour, audience engagement and performance.
  • Use social and campaign insights to inform and evolve creative output.
  • Partner with internal social, marketing, creative and production teams to maintain a consistent visual identity across beauty channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
