About the Opportunity
The Wade centre provides residential care services for 11 older adults and we are looking for flexible and committed individuals to join our friendly, dedicated team working with our lovely residents.
Role Responsibilities
The post holder will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and duties will include:
- Supporting individuals with the full range of daily living activities
- Day to day personal care and welfare of the residents
- Key-worker responsibilities
- Leading the shift in the absence of the manager
- Administering prescribed medication
- Supervision and mentorship of junior staff

Experience is preferable but training will be given.
Essential Skills and Experience
The individual must be able to demonstrate:
- Awareness of the complex physical, mental, and emotional needs of older adults
- Ability to respond in an enabling way
- Good team working and communication skills
SVQ 3 desirable but training can be provided.
Work Schedule
Successful candidates will be expected to work on rotational days and support with night shifts when required.
The post is full time.
