Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Graduate Trainee: Social Commerce supports QVC UK and helps grow social commerce performance by supporting trading, content, analytics and merchandising activity across key social platforms. You'll rotate across our Social Commerce team and learn all areas of this side of our business.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Chiswick Park, West London two days a week. This is a 12-month graduate trainee programme.

What You'll Do

  • Learn the fundamentals of social commerce trading across platforms including Meta, TikTok and YouTube, supporting activity that drives reach, engagement and conversion.
  • Support day-to-day social commerce operations including content briefing, product uploads, pricing accuracy, stock checks, QA of listings, promotions and voucher setup.
  • Assist with affiliate creator outreach, sample coordination, budget tracking, reporting and asset management.
  • Create and support engaging content for social platforms, including EGC-style content, reposting activity and live social shopping support.
  • Develop insight-led recommendations through reporting, analytics, competitive research and trading performance reviews.
  • Spend time across different parts of the social commerce team to build an understanding of how trading, content, merchandising and analytics work together.
  • Support YouTube shopping and podcast-related activity, learning how content is planned, optimised and executed.
  • Help monitor cross-platform promotions and weekend trading activity, escalating any issues where needed.
  • Build strong working relationships with merchandising and wider digital teams to support forecasting, promotional planning and commercial decision-making.

What You'll Bring

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
  • Strong interest in social commerce, social media, digital trading or online retail, with a clear desire to learn and develop in a fast-moving commercial environment.
  • Good computer literacy, including Excel, Word and Canva, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive, organised and action-oriented approach, with enthusiasm for improving results.
  • Some knowledge of social platforms and content creation, with any experience in Google Analytics, Shopify, Vinted, eBay or creative/video tools seen as an advantage.
  • Commercial awareness, ideally gained through retail, hospitality or other customer-facing experience.
