Social Community Creative

About IRIS

IRIS is a global integrated agency driven by one philosophy: Participate or Perish. We create ideas that earn attention and inspire people to interact with brands in meaningful ways. Working with some of the world’s most ambitious and recognisable brands, we bring together PR, Social, Strategy, Creative, Technology, and Media to create work that people want to participate in.

We’re looking for a Social Community Creative to join our PR + Social team: someone who is obsessed with the internet, culture, creativity, and the communities shaping what happens next.

You’ll spend your days deep in TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, comments sections, group chats, fandoms, subcultures, and emerging corners of the internet, spotting opportunities for major brands to show up in ways that feel relevant, entertaining, and genuinely useful.

You’ll be part community manager, culture spotter, creator, and creative thinker. Someone who can see a conversation happening online and immediately start thinking: what could we make from this?

The Role

As a Social Community Creative, you’ll help bring Participate or Perish to life every day.

You’ll be close to culture and the internet, constantly discovering conversations, creators, communities, trends, and behaviours that could unlock opportunities for our brands.

You’ll help develop distinctive brand personalities, build relationships with communities, and turn what you see happening online into creative ideas, reactive content, and social-first executions.

Creativity is a huge part of the role. We want someone who can take a comment, meme, cultural moment, creator behaviour, or emerging trend and turn it into an idea. That could be a brilliant reply, a piece of reactive content, a creator collaboration, something you shoot yourself, or the spark for a much bigger campaign.

You’ll also get hands-on with content. You should be comfortable shooting on a phone, getting behind the camera, working with creators, and helping turn ideas around at the speed of social.

You’ll work across major brands and alongside PR, Social, Creative, Strategy, and client teams, bringing a community-first perspective into the work and helping our brands become genuinely recognized within the communities that matter to them.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, funny, culturally curious, creatively ambitious, and full of ideas. Someone who loves making things happen and wants to help brands become part of culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Find the conversations

    • Be immersed in internet culture, proactively discovering communities, conversations, fandoms, creators, and cultural moments that our brands can meaningfully participate in.
  • Turn culture into creative ideas

    • Take the things you see happening in communities and turn them into ideas, from quick reactive moments to bigger social and integrated creative opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Participate or Perish.

Why IRIS?

IRIS is built around the belief that integrated thinking creates better work and better business outcomes. We bring together different disciplines, perspectives, and capabilities to solve problems in ways that go beyond traditional agency boundaries.

Our PR + Social team sits at the heart of that approach, helping brands find meaningful ways to participate in culture rather than simply talk at their audiences.

For us, Participate or Perish isn't just a philosophy. It's about understanding where people are spending their time, what they care about, and how brands can earn their place in those conversations.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious, culturally connected, and excited by the opportunity to help shape how some of the world’s biggest brands show up in communities.

Our culture is built around three things: Passion, Proactivity, and Performance. We want people who care deeply about what they do, take the initiative to make things happen, and hold themselves and others to a high standard.

Equal Opportunities

IRIS is an advocate for equal opportunity in the workplace. We are committed to ensuring equal opportunities regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, and gender identity. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know.
